He was on tour with Nitro Circus when a wildfire threatened his ranch. His family was scared and so he dropped everything and flew home.

THE SYSTEM
50 gallons of retardant sit at your home.
50 gallons of non-toxic, long-term fire retardant, a pump, and 100 feet of hose, installed at your home. Installed, inspected, and refilled on a regular cycle as part of the subscription.
You coat eaves, decks, and plants next to the house. Then you leave. A neighbor who knows the plan can spray if you are not home.
The system sits on your property. It does not pull water from hydrants. It does not take water or time from fire crews.
COST
A few thousand a year, not a six-figure install.
For a sample house Matador Fire sizes, figure about $3,200 a year, plus a one-time $399 install. 3-year term.
A roof sprinkler system is often near $100,000 to put in, plus about $2,000 a year to keep it.
